Biography

DJ SHERI STRAWBERRY

Born in Sin City, this native Las Vegan entered the scene at the age of 18. As a dancer / choreographer Sheri Strawberry formed and danced in several hip-hop groups, while also creating original routines for auditions, competitions and performances

As music became her main passion, Strawberry started writing lyrics. Soon she spread her wings and left Sin City for The City of Angels. In Los Angeles she introduced herself to the recording studio, where she recorded her own lyrics and produced /co-produced 10 original songs.

In 1995, having earned her wings, Strawberry returned to Las Vegas, just in time to experience the birth of Utopia and the introduction of the techno / rave scene.

Submerged in the club scene, Strawberry was intrigued with DJs - their mixes, their power and their skill. In August 2002, she met DJ Trexx, her spinning soul mate. Add turntables, a mixer, a couple hundred records and DJ Sheri Strawberry was born.

Her first residency was at Venus in The Venetian. Other venues include Curve in The Aladdin, Oba at The House of Blues in The Mandalay Bay, RisquÃ© in Paris, The Foundation Room in The Mandalay Bay, The Beauty Bar, Tequila Joes in The Imperial Palace, The Emergency Room, Club Seven, The Mayan, Live, BJâ€™s and The Galaxy.

In 2004, Strawberryâ€™s fan base took a huge leap, as her DJ-ing talents were introduced to a wide television audience via â€œThe Dan Showâ€ (KVVU / FOX 5). That same year, she was honored to rank #3 in City Lifeâ€™s â€œLas Vegas Top Female DJs.â€ http://www.lasvegascitylife.com//.
